The Lost Pirate Kingdom is one of the documentary series that Netflix is preparing to broadcast this month.
This documentary tells the true story of pirates in the Caribbean who ruthlessly plunder the world's wealth and form a republic that is treated equally.
Some of the historical Pirate figures the series will cover include Charles Vane, Anne Bonny, and the famous Blackbeard.
Meanwhile, Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard, was a British pirate who operated around the West Indies and the east coast of British colonies in North America.
The Lost Pirate Kingdom is directed by Stan Griffin who has experience directing documentary projects such as Hitler: The Rise and Fall (2016) and ABBA: Secrets of their Greatest Hits (2019).
Other directors include Patrick Dickinson who directed the documentaries Aircrash Confidential (2018), The Real Story of… (2019) and Cottontail, which has yet to air.
The documentary will feature a large number of reenactment scenes of 18th century autowshows in the Caribbean islands.
Various experts and academics have sprung up to explain the history behind the real life of Caribbean pirates.
The Lost Pirate Kingdom features actors James Oliver Wheatley and Miles Yekinni for 6 episodes.
James Oliver Wheatley will appear as Blackbeard. He also previously appeared as Sergeant Reed in the Netflix animated series The Liberator.
Jonathan previously appeared in the Legends of the Lost (2018) series as Robbie Welch and Cursed (2020) as Paladin Warrior.
The Lost Pirate Kingdom can be watched starting March 15, 2021.
